There will be one goal for the 160 players remaining in Event #13: $1,500 Limit Hold'em on Day 2: make it to the money.

The top 79 finishers will guarantee themselves $2,405. The player with the best chance of making it there is World Series of Poker bracelet winner Kenny Hsiung, who ended last night as the chip leader with 248,500. Right behind him is Venkata Tayi, the 2017 runner-up in this event, who bagged up 238,000.

There are plenty of notables still remaining out of the starting field of 522 who can challenge the two chip leaders when play resumes at 2 p.m. local time inside the Bally's Event Center. Jesse Lonis ended up in third place on the leaderboard with 208,000. The 2015 Main Event champion Joe McKeehen (114,000) and 2019 Player of the Year Robert Campbell (100,000) are also still in the hunt for the bracelet. Todd Rones is writing an incredible story for himself, coming into the day with 80,000 in the first poker tournament he's ever played.

In a blind versus blind battle, the flop came {a-Spades}{j-Spades}{j-Diamonds} and Kevin Song led out with a bet, which was quickly called by Shan Jing.

The {7-Diamonds} hit the turn and Song fired again and Jing responded with a quick raise. Song called.

The {9-Clubs} completed the board and Song checked to Jing who bet. Song instantly called and Jing tabled {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} before Song was awarded the pot with {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}.

Gerhart Eliminated by Hsiung

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Joe McKeehen raised from the cutoff and Kevin Gerhart called in the small blind. Kenny Hsiung reraised in the big blind and both of his opponents called.

Hsiung continued with a bet on the flop of {5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{k-Spades} and McKeehen called, then Gerhart got the rest of his chips in. Hsiung bet again on the {8-Spades} turn and McKeehen folded.

Kevin Gerhart: {q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}
Kenny Hsiung: {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}

Gerhart was drawing dead before the meaningless {2-Hearts} hit on the river and the four-time bracelet winner hit the rail after just a few minutes of play.

"Good Flop" for Romanos

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

With the board reading {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}, there were about 30,000 chips in the middle and Jason Vanstrom had tossed out a bet before Michael Romanos raised.

Vanstrom went into the tank for about 20-seconds before deciding to let it go.

"Good flop," Said Ramanos as he tabled {a-Diamonds}{j-Clubs} for a full house.

Shack-Harris Scares Ferro Out

Level 16 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Jacob Ferro raised in early position and Brandon Shack-Harris three-bet next to act. The action folded back around to Ferro and he made the call.

The dealer spread a flop of {9-Spades}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Ferro check-called a bet.

The {a-Clubs} hit the turn and Ferro checked before Shack-Harris tossed in a bet, but threw in 16,000 instead of 8,000. The dealer corrected it to 8,000 and after a few seconds, Ferro mucked his hand.

"The big bet scared me," joked Ferro.
