The last betting orbit saw all three players check. Mandia rolled over {j-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{5-Spades}{2-Clubs} badugi which was good enough to win the pot.

Thatcher Takes One From Greenstein

Action picked up in a single-raised pot with Barry Greenstein from middle position, a player in the small blind, and Joshua Thatcher in the big blind. Action started after the first draw.

Greenstein bet and both other players made the call. All players took one card on the second draw. Action then checked around and all players took one card on the final draw as well.

Action checked to Greenstein again, who now bet. The small blind folded, but Thatcher put in the check-raise. Greenstein reluctantly made the call.

Thatcher turned over {6-Diamonds}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs} for the six badugi and the winner.

Greenstein was busted not too long after that hand.

Michael Taylor raised from early position and found a call from the small blind and Scotty Nguyen from the big blind. The small blind drew two, Nguyen and Taylor each drew one.

Action checked to Taylor who bet again and both opponents once again called. All three players drew one on the second draw.

The action checked over to Taylor once more and he bet again. The small blind folded and Nguyen thought for a bit.

"Alright, baby," and he conceded the pot to Taylor. However, he couldn't help but look at what his next card would have been.

"Dang it!" said Nguyen.

"I was pat, what would you have made"? asked Taylor.

"Seventy-five," said Nguyen, the best possible hand.

"Wow, yeah, I had eighty-six," said Taylor.

"Bad play, baby. Bad play," lamented Nguyen as Taylor took down the pot.
