Defending Champion David "Bakes" Baker was down to just one small bet and tossed his remaining 1,200 into the pot from middle position. Nathan Gamble three-bet from the cutoff and the remaining players got out of the way.
Both Baker and Gamble drew two cards on the first draw and one card on the second draw. On the final draw Baker and Gamble once again just took one card. Gamble turned up his hand, revealing 
. Baker had a draw to a lower hand, however, and would just need to find a non-ace that did not pair him up. Unfortunately for him, he squeezed a six, giving him a pair of sixes and ensuring that this year a new champion will be crowned in the $1,500 Limit 2-7 Lowball Triple Draw event.
