Kural Makes a Tough Call

Level 21 : 10,000/20,000, 0 ante

Hasan Kural raised from middle position and received only one call in the form of Kevin Gerhart out of the small blind.

Both players took two cards on the initial draw. Gerhart then checked to Kural who bet out. Gerhart made the call to send the players to the second draw.

On the second draw Gerhart again took two cards but Kural only took one. Gerhart checked, Kural bet and for a second time Gerhart flatted.

The final draw saw both players take one card. Gerhart led into Kural who thought briefly before tossing in calling chips. Kural turned over {a-}{8-}{6-}{5-}{3-} for ace high and Gerhart, after holding his cards in the air for a brief moment, mucked.
