Corrigan Busts Roderick After Flopping Bottom Set

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 40,000 ante

Joseph Bartholdi opened from the cutoff and Jack Corrigan called from the small blind. Scott Roderick flatted from the big blind.

The flop came {4-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and Roderick led for 150,000. Bartholdi raised to 450,000 and Corrigan called. Roderick shoved for 1,200,000 total, Bartholdi snap-folded and Corrigan snap-called.

Scott Roderick: {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}
Jack Corrigan: {3-Clubs}{3-Spades}

Corrigan flopped bottom set and was far ahead of Roderick's pair of nines. The {10-Hearts} on the turn had Roderick drawing dead, with a {4-Diamonds} on the river giving Corrigan a full house and sealing the victory.
