Szwarcberg Traps With Quads

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 25,000 ante
Tomas Szwarcberg
Tomas Szwarcberg

A crazy hand has just been played on Javier Garcirreynold's table, but the Spanish player was not involved. It was a real fight between Tomas Szwarcberg and Wesley Cannon.

Cannon opened to 110,000 in middle position, and Szwarcberg called from the blinds.

Then, on a {2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} flop, Szwarcberg check-called 25,000 on the flop, and both players checked the {7-Hearts} turn. On the {j-Clubs} river, Szwarcberg checked, Cannon bet 120,000 and Szwarcberg check-raised it to 365,000.

Szwarcberg had 50,000 chips left, and Cannon set him all in. Szwarcberg called, and both players turned over their cards.

Tomas Szwarcberg: {7-Clubs}{7-Spades}
Wesley Cannon:{a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}

Wesley Cannon had a full house with aces, full of sevens, but Tomas Szwarcberg revealed quad sevens to scoop the pot.
