The third and final day of Event #26: $10,000 Limit Hold'em Championship at the World Series of Poker (WSOP) at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas will commence today at 2 p.m. PST on the Bally's side feature table with only nine players remaining.

Leading the way is Chad Eveslage, who is looking for his second-career bracelet after winning his first just eight days ago in Event #8: $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em 8-Handed. Eveslage, the only player to bag more than a million with a stack of 1,080,000, leads fellow big stacks Matthew Schreiber (970,000) and Joey Couden (830,000), both of whom are also after their second bracelets.

Play concluded for the night when Nick Pupillo was eliminated on the final table bubble.

As Day 2 wrapped up early, Day 3 will resume play in Level 17 with blinds of 10,000/15,000 and betting limits of 15,000/30,000. The final table will play down to a winner, who will take home a coveted bracelet and the $245,678 up top. Like the second day of play, levels will last 90 minutes with ten-minute breaks after each level and a dinner break at a yet-to-be-determined time.

Will someone win a second WSOP bracelet or will a newcomer take home gold? Follow the PokerNews live reporting team's updates throughout the day to find out!

David Litt

David Litt was involved in a big three-way pot against Joey Couden and Matthew Schreiber and got all of his chips in on a board of {j-}{9-}{10-}{10-}.

Couden bet on the {7-Spades} river and Schreiber called. Couden tabled {k-Hearts}{q-Diamonds} for the nut straight, while Litt had {q-Spades}{10-Hearts} for trips and Schreiber had an overpair with {k-Diamonds}{k-Clubs}.

Couden won the main and side pots while Litt made his exit in ninth place without much grace.

"God dammit!" Litt yelled as he left the table.

Straight Flush for Eveslage

Chad Eveslage
Chad Eveslage

Chad Eveslage was out of position in a heads-up pot against Matt Woodward on a board of {j-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}.

Eveslage bet on the turn and Woodward called. Eveslage bet again on the {q-Hearts} river and Woodward took about a minute before calling. Eveslage turned over a monster with {5-Clubs}{3-Clubs} for a straight flush.

"That's pretty good!" said Joey Couden.

"Did you see what I had?" asked an excited Eveslage as the table laughed.

Amir Shayesteh Eliminated in 8th Place ($27,269)

Amir Shayesteh

Amir Shayesteh opened in middle position and saw a flop against Kyle Dilschneider in the small blind and Chad Eveslage in the big blind.

Shayesteh bet when checked to on the flop of {9-Spades}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} and both opponents called. All three players then checked on the {3-Clubs} turn.

Dilschneider led out on the {j-} river and Eveslage raised, leading Shayesteh to fold with less than one big bet behind. Dilschneider called and showed {k-Clubs}{j-Hearts} to win the pot.

A few hands later, Eveslage opened and Shayesteh called off in the big blind.

Amir Shayesteh: {j-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}
Chad Eveslage: {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}

The flop came {7-Spades}{3-Clubs}{a-Clubs} to give both players pairs, but the {a-Hearts} on the turn left Shayesteh drawing dead headed to the {6-Clubs} river to send him out in eighth place for $27,269.

Joey Couden opened on the button and Matt Woodward called in the big blind as the shortest stack.

Woodward checked on the flop of {a-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Couden bet. Woodward raised and Couden re-raised to get Woodward all-in. Woodward called.

Matt Woodward: {q-Clubs}{5-Spades}
Joey Couden: {a-Hearts}{9-Clubs}

Both players had pairs but Couden had the best of it. Woodward didn't improve on the runout of {j-Hearts}{2-Spades} and hit the rail in seventh place for $34,314.

Jonathan Cohen opened in middle position and Chad Eveslage three-bet from the small blind. Cohen called.

Eveslage moved all-in on the {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}{j-Clubs} flop and Cohen called.

Chad Eveslage: {7-Spades}{7-Diamonds}
Jonathan Cohen: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

Eveslage was far in front with sevens and nines and improved to a full house on the {9-Clubs} turn. However, the river brought the case {9-Diamonds} to put quads on the board for Cohen to take the pot down with his ace kicker.

The sickening runout brought gasps from the table as the Day 2 chip leader exited the final table in sixth place.

Matthew Gonzales

After losing a big portion of his stack in a pot against Kyle Dilschneider, Matthew Gonzales opened from under the gun and was called by Matthew Schreiber in the big blind.

Schreiber checked on the flop of {8-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{6-Spades} and called a bet from Gonzales. Schreiber then check-raised on the {5-Diamonds} turn and Gonzales re-raised in turn. Schreiber called.

Schreiber checked on the {q-Clubs} river and snap-called a bet from Gonzales, who tabled an overpair with {k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. It was no good against the flopped two pair of Gonzales with {j-Hearts}{8-Spades}.

Gonzales was left with crumbs and was forced in from the big blind the next hand in a heads-up pot against Kyle Dilschneider.

Matthew Gonzales: {q-Hearts}{5-Clubs}
Kyle Dilschneider: {a-Spades}{8-Spades}

The flop of {2-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{3-Spades} didn't help Gonzales but he picked up a pair on the {5-Diamonds} turn. But the {4-Diamonds} on the river gave Dilschneider a straight and Gonzales was eliminated in fourth place after running cold since returning from the dinner break.

Schreiber bet on the flop of {k-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and Cohen raised. Schreiber called. Schreiber checked on the {2-Spades} turn and called a bet from Cohen.

Schreiber checked again on the {a-Diamonds} river and called a bet from Cohen, who showed {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts} to win the pot and leave Schreiber with crumbs.

A few hands later, Schreiber raised in the small blind again and Cohen called.

Schreiber bet on the flop of {5-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{a-Clubs} and Cohen raised. Schreiber re-raised all-in and Cohen called.

Matthew Schreiber: {q-Spades}{9-Spades}
Jonathan Cohen: {a-Hearts}{9-Hearts}
