On a board reading 
a player in the big blind checked to Jeff Platt on the button. Platt fired off a bet and was called by the big blind player.
Both players checked through the 
turn to the 
river. The player in the big blind checked for a third time and faced a bet of 4,500 from Platt, which he called fairly quickly. "Ace high" declared Platt but unfortunately for him his opponent turned over 
for the straight to collect the pot and leave Platt short stacked.
