Cardle Turns a Set to Bust Two Pair and Double Up

Level 9 : 1,000/1,500, 1,500 ante

Action was picked up after James Cardle, the small blind, had moved all in with the effective stack of 56,500. He got a call from Eric Nelson in the big blind.

James Cardle: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Eric Nelson: {k-Spades}{a-Hearts}

Cardle was ahead, but that changed drastically as the {4-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{a-Clubs} flop gave Nelson top two. That changed quickly as the {q-Spades} turn gave Cardle a set. The {j-Spades} river helped neither player, and Cardle's set was good enough to scoop the pot and double up.
