Renard Has all the Sevens

Level 15 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Action picked up on the turn in a heads-up pot with about 60,000 in the middle. The board showed {7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{3-Hearts}.

Thibault Renard bet 12,000 from the botton. From the small blind, Karol Bogusz check-raised to 37,000. Staring his opponent down, Renard made the call.

On the river {2-Spades}, Bogusz now bet 50,000, about half of Renard's stack. Renard thought for about a minute before moving all in for 108,000.

Bogusz began to talk through the hand and couldn't figure out just what his opponent had.

"I call," Bogusz eventually said.

Renard tabled {7-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} for flopped quads and took down the important pot.
