A Day 1 Reunion

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 35,000 ante

Eric Tipsword, Jonathan McGowan, and Drew Scott were all on the same table at the start of Day 1. They now find themselves sharing a table again on Day 3 with 14 players remaining.

Adam Pritchett, the 22nd-place finisher, was also on that Day 1 table and stopped by to say hello and wish his former tablemates luck.

Newton Takes With a Shove

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 35,000 ante

Thomas Newton opened with a raise to 55,000 and Jonathan McGowan served a three-bet to 175,000 from the next seat over. The rest of the table got out of the way before Newton jammed the rest of his stack for around 700,000. McGowan wasted no time and tossed his cards in the muck to give up the pot.

Elsewhere at the table, Drew Scott mentioned that he was dealt quad fives on that hand.

"You had my outs to a wheel," Newton said as he stacked up the pot.

Michael McKenna

Michael McKenna moved all in for 155,000 from the cutoff and Thomas Newton called in the small blind.

Szwarcberg Doesn't Take a Stab

Level 22 : 10,000/25,000, 35,000 ante

Tomas Szwarcberg raised to 50,000 from the button and Roland Israelashvili three-bet to 135,000 in the small blind. Szwarcberg quickly gave up his hand.

The next hand, Szwarcberg raised again to 50,000 and was met with more resistance, this time in the form of a 225,000 three-bet by Maxx Coleman.

Szwarcberg called this time and took one, while Coleman stood pat.

Coleman checked over to Szwarcberg, who took several minutes counting down his stack before deciding to check behind.

Coleman showed a ten-eight. "Big draw," Szwarcberg said before mucking.
