Seiver Versus Hallaert

Level 16 : 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Kenny Hallaert raised in early position to 14,000 and action folded around to Scott Seiver who defended his big blind.

The flop came out {9-Spades}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts} and Seiver checked to Hallaert, who continued for 11,000. Seiver check-raised to 28,000 and after briefly thinking about his options, Hallaert called.

The turn and river fell {q-Clubs}{7-Spades} with both players checking through, and Seiver verbally declared "nine," before turning over {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} for nines-up. Hallaert mucked his hand and Seiver continued to amass chips.
