Zhu Out, Brown the Beneficiary

Level 7
Andrew Brown
Andrew Brown

Yueqi Zhu was all in from under the gun and involved in a four-way pot with Andrew Brown in middle position, Joey Couden in the cutoff and Vladislav Denisov from the big blind.

On the first draw Denisov, Brown and Couden all took one card while Zhu drew two. Denisov then led out and was raised by Brown. Couden flatted as did Denisov.

The second draw saw Denisov and Brown stand pat, Zhu take another two and Couden draw one. Denisov opted to check to Brown, who bet out and was called by both Couden and Denisov.

Denisov and Brown again stood pat on the final draw. Meanwhile, Zhu and Couden drew one each. Denisov checked and Brown bet, which was enough to force Couden out of the hand, sending the action back to Denisov. He counted out calling chips and, after holding them above the pot for a moment, tossed them into the middle. Brown announced he had a wheel and was met by mucks from Denisov and Zhu, the latter of whom made a hasty exit from the tournament area.
