Eslami Rising

Level 13

Ali Eslami opened from the cutoff and faced a three-bet from Mike Thorpe out of the small blind, which Eslami called.

Thorpe took one card to Eslami's two on the first draw and followed that up with a bet. Eslami was not going anywhere and made the call.

The same drawing pattern was repeated during the second draw and once again Thorpe led into Eslami, who responded with a raise. Thorpe did make the call to send the two players to the third draw.

The final draw saw Thorpe take another card while Eslami stood pat. Thorpe fired off a bet and announced he had a pair after Eslami made the call. Eslami turned over {8-}{7-}{6-}{3-}{2-} to keep him moving up the chip counts.
