Pocket Threes Hold Up

Level 30 : 100,000/150,000, 150,000 ante

On the button Maxime Parys raised to 425,000 with {3-Spades}{3-Hearts} and got called by small blind Samuel Bifarella {a-Clubs}{6-Clubs} and big blind, Steve Zolotow {q-Clubs}{j-Clubs}.

The flop came down {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and the blinds checked to Parys who bet 400,000. Bifarella called and Zolotow got out of the way to let the two battle it out.

A {q-Spades} came down on the turn and Bifarella once again checked to Parys who this time also checked.

The river was a {9-Diamonds} which Bifarella and Parys both checked. Parys' pocket threes were good to win the pot and give the chip leader a little boost.
