Joly Cracks Kings with Trip Queens

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Bastien Joly moved all in for 635,000 and earned a single caller, James Millard in the small blind who had Joly covered.

Bastien Joly: {a-Clubs}{q-Spades}
James Millard: {k-Spades}{k-Clubs}

Joly improved on the {j-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{9-Clubs} flop, but was still behind until the {q-Clubs} turn gave him trips. Millard began pleading with the dealer for a 10 on the river to make his straight, but instead the {2-Spades} came, and locked up the pot for Joly.

DiStefano Eliminates Vila

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Santiago Vila raised 150,000 from under the gun and Vito DiStefano called in middle position.

The flop came {k-Clubs}{j-Spades}{8-Diamonds} and Vila bet 220,000. DiStefano called.

The turn was the {a-Clubs} and Vila moved all in for 505,000. DiStefano thought before making the call.

Santiago Vila: {4-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}
Vito DiStefano: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

Vila was drawing to just two outs and they didn't come when the river was the {9-Diamonds} eliminating him from the tournament.

Marchington Forces Fold

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

On a heads-up flop of {5-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Diamonds} Daniel Rezaei in middle position checked and then tank-called a bet a 150,000 from NIck Marchington in late position.

On the {q-Spades} turn, Rezai again checked to Marchington who fired once more, this time for 325,000. This brought the size of the pot to over 1,400,000 and also sent Rezaei into the tank. After a good while battling within himself, Rezaei made the laydown and Marchington was awarded the pot.

Solorzano Rivers a Straight for Knockout

Level 26 : 30,000/60,000, 60,000 ante

Tauan Naves opened from early position for 125,000. Alain Bauer put in the call from late position before Jacek Pustula raised to 500,000 in the hijack. Then, Orlando Solorzano moved all in as the small blind with about 1,200,000 behind. Naves made the call with the effective stack of 840,000. Bauer took some time to make a decision, eventually having the clock called on him. He found the fold, as did Pustula.

Tauan Naves: {q-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}
Orlando Solorzano: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}

Solorzano was behind, but picked up a gutshot to go along with his overcards on the {5-Spades}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts} flop. After the {5-Hearts} turn paired the board, the {4-Hearts} river gave Solorzano the straight, enough to bust Naves' queens and send him to the rail.

Dzivielevski Doubles Up with Rivered Set

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

John Walker opened from late position for 100,000 before Vitor Dzivielevski moved all in for 835,000 from the hijack. Kenny Hallaert, the small blind, moved all in as well with about 1,700,000 behind. Seamus Cahill got out of the way from the big blind, as did Walker.

Vitor Dzivielevski: {4-Hearts}{4-Spades}
Kenny Hallaert: {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

Dzivielevski was behind, and after the {k-Spades}{3-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop and {6-Clubs} turn it looked like his tournament run had come to an end. But he was able to hit a miracle {4-Diamonds} river to give him a set, good enough to crack Hallaert's jacks and keep his WSOP bracelet hopes alive.

Lennon Fires with Bullets

Level 25 : 25,000/50,000, 50,000 ante

jeff Lennon moved all in preflop for 445,000 and Khang Nguyen called, putting Lennon at risk.

Jeff Lennon: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}
Khang Nguyen: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

"Noooo, he got me with the aces!" Nguyen groaned.

The board runout of {6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{3-Hearts} didn't help him, and Lennon scored a nice double up.
