Gorodinsky Gets Paid Off

Level 2 : 200/400, 400 ante
Mike Gorodinsky
Mike Gorodinsky

With action heads-up (PokerNews believes the hand was blind versus blind), after cards had been drawn, Mike Gorodinsky's opponent checked. Gorodinsky then chose a 7,000 sizing into a pot of a few thousand.

After some thought, his opponent made the call and the two time bracelet winner showed {10-}{8-}{6-}{4-}{2-} which was good enough to take it down.

After the draw round had already been completed, Mike Gorodinsky was raising Darren Elias' 3,500 bet to 16,500 chips.

Thirty seconds passed before Elias decided to jam, putting Gorodinsky all-in for his last 35,000. Gorodinsky went deep into the tank, checking and re-checking his cards multiple times.

Ultimately, he let this one go, giving the pot to Elias and moving him back to the 130,000 chip mark.
