Winter Scores Huge Pot

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Sean Winter called 200,000 from under the gun with {k-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds} and both Thomas Morrison with {a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{j-Spades}{3-Clubs} and Fabian Brandes with {10-Spades}{10-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{5-Clubs} came along in the blinds.

The flop came {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} and both Morrison and Brandes checked to Winter who bet 275,000. Morrison got out of the way and Brandes called.

On the {4-Clubs} turn both players checked. The {4-Diamonds} river completed the board and Brandes checked for a third time. Winter assembled a bet of 1,100,000 and after little thought Brandes flicked in a call. Winter's queens-full scooped the massive pot and put him back in contention.

Winter Keeps Accumulating

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Fabian Brandes bet 450,000 from the button with {k-Hearts}{q-Spades}{4-Spades}{3-Hearts} and was met with a bet of 1,550,000 from Sean Winter holding {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}. Brandes made the call.

The {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} flop allowed Winter to bet the pot for 2,400,000. Brandes took a look at his cards and said "You win buddy" and mucked his hand.

Fabian Brandes opened to 450,000 with {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{j-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} under the gun and Leonid Yanovski made the call from the small blind with {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}.

Thomas Morrison announced all-in from the big blind with {a-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds} but was only able to bet 1,800,000 leaving him with 500,000 behind. Brandes tanked for awhile but decided to fold and Yanovski put the rest in and Morrison called.

The board ran out clean for the aces on {10-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{5-Hearts}{6-Clubs}{4-Clubs} and Thomas Morrison was eliminated in fourth for $108,604.

The Winter Train Keeps Rolling

Level 30 : 100,000/200,000, 200,000 ante

Leonid Yanovski bet 400,000 from the button with {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and was called by Fabian Brandes in the small blind with {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs} and Sean Winter in the big blind holding {k-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{5-Hearts}{3-Clubs}.

The {10-Hearts}{7-Spades}{5-Spades} flop was checked by all three players. The {3-Hearts} turn gave Winter a flush draw along with his sevens and fives and bet 450,000. Yanovski and Brandes called.

The {2-Hearts} on the river gave Winter a flush but slowed down and checked, as do the other players and Winter grabs another pot.

With 800,000 in the middle on a board of {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}, Leonid Yanovski bet 400,000 holding {j-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} for an open-ended straight draw in the small blind,

Fabian Brandes made the call with {q-Spades}{j-Hearts}{7-Spades}{7-Clubs} in the big blind as did Sean Winter in the big blind with {a-Hearts}{10-Clubs}{9-Spades}{4-Clubs}

The {5-Diamonds} on the river prompted Winter to bet 2,000,000 and the other players folded. Winter has gone from 100,000 to chip leader in the space of an hour.

Brandes Takes A Chunk Off Winter To Take Back Lead

Level 31 : 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante

Sean Winter limped from the button with {q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs} and Leonid Yanovski completed the small blind with {10-Spades}{9-Spades}{8-Clubs}{6-Spades}. Fabian Brandes bet the pot for 1,000,000 and was called only by Winter.

An action flop of {k-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} gave Brandes top set and a flush draw, and gave Winter a worse flush draw and an open-ended straight draw. However, there was no betting on the flop.

The {j-Spades} on the turn gave Winter second pair, Brandes checked and Winter bet 1,800,000. Brandes bet the pot for 6,730,000. Winter looked in disbelief at the move and reluctantly folded.
