Gierse Doubles, Schindler Arrives

Level 7 : 5,000/10,000, 10,000 ante

Marius Gierse raised it up from the cutoff and Talal Shakerchi called on the button. The flop came {10-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {7-Diamonds} on the turn.

Gierse led out with a bet of 40,000 and Shakerchi moved all in. Gierse quickly called off his stack of 140,000 and showed {a-Diamonds}{j-Diamonds} for the nut flush. Shakerchi was drawing slim with {7-Hearts}{6-Clubs} and the {2-Spades} on the river provided no help.

On the next hand, Gregory Jensen raised to 25,000 in the cutoff and Phil Ivey just called on the button. Seth Davies three-bet to 120,000 in the big blind which got Jensen to fold. Ivey, however, four-bet shoved all in for just over 700,000 and Davies was forced to fold.
