Perry Chipping Up

Level 39 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
David Perry
David Perry

After taking down a pot against Chris Moorman the previous hand and showing {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} on the {a-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{4-Spades} board, David Perry was right back in the action against Moorman.

Chris Moorman raised to 2,700,000 in the small blind and David Perry came along in the big blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {9-Spades}{8-Hearts}{6-Hearts} and Moorman continued for 2,500,000. Perry wasted no time making the call.

The {2-Diamonds} hit the turn and Moorman bet 6,300,000. As soon as Moorman let go of the chips Perry announced all in. Moorman snap-folded and Perry showed {10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} for top pair on the flop.

Phong Than Nguyen Eliminated in 6th Place ($48,299)

Level 39 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Phong Than Nguyen
Phong Than Nguyen

Phong Than Nguyen limped from the small blind and Chris Moorman shoved all in from the big blind. Nguyen snap-called for his tournament life.

Phong Than Nguyen: {a-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}
Chris Moorman: {4-Spades}{4-Clubs}

The two were locked in a classic race but Nguyen pulled far ahead on the {2-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop and stayed in front after the {a-Clubs} turn. However, just as he was about to count out his stack for a full double, the {4-Diamonds} came out of nowhere on the river to dash Nguyen's hopes of a first WSOP bracelet in gut wrenching fashion, forcing him instead to settle for sixth place and $48,299.

Elven Espinar Eliminated in 7th Place ($37,148)

Level 39 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Elven Espinar
Elven Espinar

Chris Moorman raised to 2,400,000 in the hijack and Elven Espinar three-bet jammed for 4,000,000 in the cutoff. The action quickly folded back to Moorman and he made the call.

Elven Espinar: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}
Chris Moorman: {q-Diamonds}{8-Spades}

Espinar was ahead with ace-high and the flop of {9-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} kept him with the lead. The {10-Spades} hit the turn, giving Moorman a gutshot straight and the {8-Hearts} landed on the river pairing Moorman's eight to eliminate Espinar in seventh place for $37,148.

Eichhorn Doubles Through Espinar

Level 39 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Daniel Eichhorn
Daniel Eichhorn

Elven Espinar raised to 2,400,000 on the button and Daniel Eichhorn three-bet all in for 6,700,000. Espinar tanked for about a minute before saying, "Let's go, F*** it" and splashed the chips into the pot.

Daniel Eichhorn: {a-Spades}{7-Spades}
Elven Espinar: {6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}

The dealer spread a flop of {q-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} and the {k-Diamonds} hit the turn, giving Espinar a flush draw to go along with his two live cards but the {a-Clubs} on the river paired Eichhorn as he sealed a double-up.

Ladies Hold for Guidez

Level 39 : 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Sebastien Guidez
Sebastien Guidez

Sebastien Guidez moved all in from middle position and action folded to Chris Moorman on the button, who made the call. The blinds got out of the way and Guidez was officially at risk.

Sebastien Guidez: {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}
Chris Moorman: {k-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}

Guidez was ahead, with Moorman holding only three immediate outs. The {5-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} flop changed nothing, nor did the {9-Spades} turn. The {3-Diamonds} river completed a clean runout for Guides, who doubled to 13,000,000.

Josh Prager
Josh Prager

Josh Prager jammed in the cutoff for 7,100,000 and Chris Moorman called from the big blind.

Josh Prager: {9-Hearts}{9-Spades}
Chris Moorman: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

"We need a seven!" Yelled Moorman to his rail.

The flop came {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{5-Hearts} and changed nothing, while the {6-Spades} hit the turn giving both players a straight draw. The {q-Clubs} river was a brick and Prager collected his double.
