Sixes for Saout

Level 6 : 400/800, 800 ante

Antoine Saout was on the button facing a 2,100 raise from the player under the gun. He three-bet to 8,000 and got called from the original raiser. The flop came down {a-Spades}{k-Spades}{6-Spades} and the under the gun player fired out 7,000 which Saout called.

On the turn came a {3-Clubs} and Saout called a 13,000 bet from the first to act.

The river was a {2-Hearts} which both players checked and cards went up. Saout had {8-Spades}{6-Spades} and the pair of sixes was just enough to beat his opponents {5-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and take down the hand.

Aido Takes Down Multiway Pot

Sergio Aido
Sergio Aido

On a {q-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{5-Clubs} flop, we were five ways, after André Akkari and another player checked the blinds, the under-the-gun player checked too. With action on Sergio Aido in the cutoff, the Spanish player continued for 2,000. Timothy Reilly made the call from the button.

After Akkari and the big blind let their hands go, the under-the-gun player called and we were off to a turn.

After a {7-} fell, Aido kept betting, 7,000 was enough to fold out those left in the hand.

Matt Berkey

Matt Berkey was heads-up on a river, with pot with around 22,000 in the middle. Under-the-gun, Berkey moved all in on the {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{3-Clubs} board and his early position opponent mucked {k-}{q-} face up.

Like many others, the recognisable cash game grinder is looking for his first World Series of Poker bracelet to add to his over $4,000,000 in tournament cashes.
