On the 
turn, Turgeon fired 1,500 and the big blind put in a raise to 5,000. The button got out of the way before Turgeon made the call.
Turgeon checked the 
river and his opponent fired another 5,000. Turgeon made the call. His opponent showed 
for trip jacks, but Turgeon turned over 
for the Broadway straight. Turgeon scooped the pot to build one of the bigger stacks in the room in these early stages of Day 1a.
