Team Baker Beats the Vibes to Knock Out Team Palma

Level 9 : 600/1,200, 1,200 ante

"I'm going to win this hand, just so everybody knows. I've got 12 k and I don't want a walk, " Nick Palma of Team Palma announced confidently to the table.

Shortly afterwards Lance 'Cord' Garcia of Team Garcia announced he was "all f**kin in, " which is no small matter as he covered the entire table. After the player between them folded, Palma snapped it off, which put himself at risk.

"You're about to double me up, I hope you know that," Palma said as he showed {k-Hearts}{10-Clubs}.

"Not a chance," Garcia grinned as he rolled over {a-Diamonds}{8-Spades}.

The board ran out {a-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{2-Spades}{3-Hearts}, which gave Garcia the winner with a pair of aces, and eliminated Palma.

"Wow I can't believe I lost, I had all the vibes on my side," Palma joked as he exited the tournament.
