Russell Building a Big Stack

Level 7 : 400/800, 800 ante

Vincent Russell opened from early/middle position for 3,500. He got a call from middle position before the rest of the table folded.

On the {6-Hearts}{6-Spades}{j-Hearts} flop, Russell continued for 5,000, and again earned a call.

Russell slowed down on the {5-Clubs} turn, checking the action to his opponent, who fired 7,500 into the pot. Russell snap jammed and his opponent snap folded. The whole sequence was so fast, with less than five seconds between when the opponent's chips hit the felt to when he pushed his cards towards the muck.

Russell scooped the pot to add to his impressive stack which has grown to be one of the biggest in the field.
