Eskandari started the day as chip leader but had to battle back from a 4:1 chip deficit in the heads up battle against Gianera.

He managed to close it out in epic fashion to the delight of his rail who yelled out "You deserve this" as he claimed the 1st place prize of $330,609 and his first WSOP bracelet.
