Vogelsang Doubles Up Through Winter

With 140,000 chips already in the pot, the flop came {2-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{8-Spades}. Christoph Vogelsang bet 40,000 following Sean Winter's check. Winter called.

On the {6-Clubs} turn, Winter checked and Vogelsang went for a bet of 160,000. After some thought, Winter put Vogelsang all in for his remaining 360,000 chips. Vogelsang eventually called and show {k-Hearts}{j-Spades} while Winter turned over {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}.

The river was the {10-Spades} and Vogelsang received the full double.

The duo checked the {k-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds} flop to the {9-Clubs} turn, and Smith check-called for 40,000.

The {q-Diamonds} completed the board, Smith checked, Jaffe bet 125,000, and after some time, Smith raised to 550,000. Jaffe let go of his hand to concede the pot without a showdown.

Sean Winter raised to 19,000 on the button and Christoph Vogelsang defended from the big blind. The flop came {a-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{5-Diamonds} and both players checked to the {9-Hearts} on the turn.

Vogelsang checked again and Winter counted out a bet of 42,000. Vogelsang called and the {2-Diamonds} completed the board. Vogelsang checked for the third time and Winter quickly checked back. Vogelsang showed {j-Hearts}{5-Hearts} for a pair of fives and a missed flush draw.

"One more heart, that could've been it," Winter said as he flashed the {k-Hearts}.

Kornuth Closing in on Sammartino

The turn brought the {6-Clubs} and Sammartino continued for 60,000. Kornuth called once more.

Both players checked after the {a-Clubs} appeared on the river. Kornuth tabled {8-Diamonds}{8-Spades}, beating Sammartino's {7-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}.

Dan Smith opened to 20,000 on the button and Jonathan Jaffe three-bet to 90,000 in the big blind. Smith four-bet to 240,000 and Jaffe just called. The flop fell {8-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts} and Jaffe led out with a bet of 48,000 which Smith called.

The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and Jaffe fired out another bet of 110,000. Smith still called and the {5-Spades} completed the board with a straight. Jaffe announced all in, putting Smith to the test for his remaining 745,000 chips. Smith counted out his stack and then made the call.

Jaffe tabled {10-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds} while Smith showed {a-Spades}{k-Hearts} and each player played the straight on the board to chop the pot.
