Dan Smith limped in on the button and Alex Foxen made it 33,000 to go from the big blind. Smith called and the flop came {j-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Spades}.

Foxen continued with a bet of 20,000 and Smith called to see the {3-Spades} on the turn. Foxen checked this time and Smith threw in a bet of 35,000. Foxen called and the {2-Clubs} completed the board.

Foxen quickly checked again and Smith slid out a stack of 25,000 chips. Foxen was put to the test for his remaining 150,000 chips but decided to lay his hand down.

Aces for Vogelsang

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

With roughly 45,000 in the pot on a {10-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}{8-Spades} board, Koray Aldemir checked, Christoph Vogelsang bet 40,000, and Aldemir called.

The {k-Diamonds} completed the board, Aldemir checked, and Vogelsang bet 110,000. Aldemir went into the tank and eventually moved in a single chip to signify the call.

"Aces," Vogelsang said as he tabled {a-Clubs}{a-Diamonds} and scooped the pot as Aldemir mucked.

Kornuth Combines Table Talk and Fortunate River to Take Big Lead

Level 17 : 4,000/8,000, 0 ante

Chance Kornuth raised preflop to 24,000 and Patrick Kennedy called.

"That's the first large sizing you've called preflop," Kornuth said as the flop came {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{a-Clubs}.

"These board textures are so weird today, I never know what to do," Kornuth continued as he bet 9,000. After the call and before the turn, Kornuth exclaimed "I'm going to three-barrel the shit out of you."

The turn came the {3-Hearts} and Kornuth bet 23,000. Kennedy called once more and the table was silent for the final card.

With the {5-Hearts}, Kornuth led for 38,000 before asking the dealer if he could show one card, though his request was denied.

Kennedy called, Kornuth said "full house" and turned over {7-Spades}{5-Clubs}.

In a three-bet pot with 112,000 in the middle, the dealer fanned the flop of {6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}. John Smith led out with a bet of 50,000 and Dylan Destefano shoved all in. Smith called off the last of his 180,000 chips and the cards were tabled.

John Smith: {5-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Dylan Destefano: {8-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}

The {7-Spades} on the turn gave Destefano the best hand with a pair of sevens and the {5-Hearts} on the river improved him to a straight which eliminated Smith from the tournament.
