Lamb Gets Some Back

Level 18 : 0/0, 10,000 ante

With a little over 100,000 in the middle and the board reading {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{9-Spades}{7-Spades}, Ben Lamb threw in a bet of 55,000 on the button. Shota Nakanishi called and the {8-Diamonds} completed the board.

Nakanishi bet 100,00,000 on the river and Lamb looked him up. Nakanishi showed {k-Spades}{j-Diamonds} for a pair of jacks while Lamb held {q-Clubs}{9-Hearts} for a straight.

A couple of hands later, Lamb limped in from the cutoff and Nakanishi raised to 80,000 on the button. Lamb three-bet shoved all in and Nakanishi instantly folded.

Rast Doubles Through Lamb

Level 18 : 0/0, 10,000 ante
Brian Rast
Brian Rast

Ben Lamb raised to 110,000 from under the gun which got a tank-fold from Shota Nakanishi. Brian Rast called on the button and the dealer fanned the flop of {k-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}.

Lamb checked to Rast who bet 200,000 and Lamb used a time bank before shoving all in. Rast instantly called off his stack of 823,000 and the cards were tabled.

Brian Rast: {q-Clubs}{9-Clubs}
Ben Lamb: {a-Spades}{k-Spades}

Rast flopped a straight and Lamb was left drawing slim with a pair and a straight draw. The {7-Hearts} on the turn and the {j-Spades} on the river changed nothing as Rast earned a double up.
