Mantovani Flops Set Again

A player from under the gun raised to 4,500 and 888 ambassador Alexandre Mantovani called in the small blind. The big blind also came along.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Clubs} and action checked to the under the gun player who bet 6,000. Mantovani raised to 17,500 and the big blind cold called. The under the gun player moved all in. Mantovani went all in over the top. The big blind went into the tank before deciding to fold.

After a limp, Gilbert Diaz raised to 5,500 and was called by Anthony Deblasio in the high jack, and by the first player who limped.

On a {k-Spades}{a-Hearts}{q-Hearts} flop, the first player checked and Diaz bet 7,000. Deblasio called, and they were heads up to the turn {5-Clubs}.
Diaz bet another 10,000 and Deblasio quickly called, to the river {q-Spades}.

Without any hesitation, Diaz bet another 20,000. Deblasio thought about it for a moment, then finally called.

Gilbert Diaz showed {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs} for a full house, and it was the winning hand, as Anthony Deblasio mucked.

Cerrotta Takes a Pot

Action was picked up in a heads-up pot of roughly 12,000 in the middle. The board was {9-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds} and the small blind checked to James Cerrotta in the cutoff who bet 6,000.

The small blind took a moment but folded his hand, awarding the pot to Cerrotta.

"You know I had four-seven", joked Cerrotta as he stacked his chips.

Action folded to John Franciosi in the small blind who raised to 4,000. His opponent called in the big blind.

The {5-Clubs} was the turn and action went check-check.

The {5-Spades} was the river and Franciosi checked. His opponent bet 7,000 and Franciosi called quickly. The big blind showed {6-Spades}{3-Spades} for fives full of threes but was beat by Franciosi who showed {4-Spades}{4-Hearts} for fives full of fours to scoop the pot.

Figueroa Wins A Big Race

In early position, Armando Figueroa raised to 3,500 and Suad Kantarevic three-bet from the button to 9,000.

Figueroa decided to four-bet to 24,500 and Kantarevic moved all in for 154,000. Figueroa called and was at risk, with a stack of 110,000.

Action started when Nathan Henry opened to 3,500 from the hijack and the small blind three-bet to 9,000 which only Henry called.

The flop came {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}{2-Spades} and Henry moved all in for 26,000. The small blind took a moment but eventually made the call.

Henry was on a flush draw and in need of some help against the ace-king of his opponent. The board ran out {2-Hearts} and river {5-Spades} giving Henry a flush and full double up. The Canadian native was sporting a Toronto Blue Jays jersey and enjoying a cold one, celebrating Canada Day.

David Richards made the call from early position. The big blind turned over {10-Clubs}{6-Clubs} for king high while Richards turned over {a-Spades}{k-Diamonds} for top pair top kicker to scoop in the pot.

The player in early position bet 11,000 before 888 ambassador Alexandre "Cavalito" Mantovani moved all in for 69,000 from the hijack. The player on the button moved all in over the top for 85,000. Action folded back to the out of position player who pondered before throwing his hand into the muck.

Mantovani showed {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} for a set of nines in which his opponent mucked which won the Brazilian a huge pot.
