Kropmanns Takes From Chauderson

Level 39 : Blinds 1,000,000/1,500,000, 1,500,000 ante

Ramon Kropmanns raised to 3,000,000 from the hijack and was called by Paul Chauderson in the cutoff and Natalie Hof in the big blind.

The board came out {10-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} and action checked over to Chauderson who bet 3,000,000 with only Kropmanns calling.

The turn rolled off the {9-Hearts} and Chauderson continued for 5,400,000 which Kropmanns called once more.

The river of {4-Hearts} checked through and Kropmanns turned over {k-Clubs}{10-Spades} for tens-up and Chauderson angrily mucked his cards while Kropmanns' chip stack rose up.

Combes Right Back In Contention

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante
Charles Combes
Charles Combes

Charles Combes, known as Charlie, has gone from a small blind to right back into the tournament after he has just doubled up again, having more than quadrupled up in a couple of hands prior.

After the cutoff, Daniel De Almeida, made it 2,400,000. Combes jammed his last 6,000,000 all in and it folded back to Almeida who called.

Charles Combes: {a-Hearts}{5-Hearts}
Daniel De Almeida: {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}

The {2-Spades}{6-Clubs}{9-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} board gave Combes the full double. A chip and a chair, people.

After Jorge Juri had lost a flip with ace-king to double Wojciech Barzantny up, he moved his short stack all in from middle position for 8,800,000. It folded around to Christopher Doan in the small blind, who called. Barzantny folded his big blind and cards were on their backs.

Jorge Juri: {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds}
Christopher Doan: {6-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}

The {6-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Diamonds} run out gave Doan a boat and eliminated Juri in 16th place, good for $38,650.

Kenta Makino Eliminated in 17th Place ($38,650)

Level 38 : Blinds 600,000/1,200,000, 1,200,000 ante

Kenta Makino shoved from the hijack for 13,200,000 and Daniel De Almeida pushed from the small blind for 15,400,000. The action was on Charles Combes who was deep in the tank and then called.

Kenta Makino: {k-Clubs}{q-Spades}
Daniel De Almeida: {8-Spades}{8-Diamonds}
Charles Combes: {a-Hearts}{q-Hearts}

De Almeida held the lead with pocket eights and he drilled a set on the {7-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{8-Hearts} flop. The turn {4-Spades} improved De Almeida to a full house and the {9-Hearts} bricked off the end as he won a massive pot.

In the aftermath, Makino was eliminated and Combes was left with just 400,000.
