Negos' Two Pair Trumps His Opponent

On a turn of {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{j-Spades}, Lucas Negos was facing a 12,000 bet from the small blind, he respoded with a raise all in for 40,900 which just about covered his opponent.

Eventually his opponent made the call and cards were tabled.

The two pair of Negos needed to dodge some outs and the river was a {6-Spades} giving him the knockout and almost doubling up along the way.

Cole Ferraro raised to 1,600 in the cutoff and on the button, Christopher Kaulia three-bet to 4,600 which folded all action to Ferraro who called.

The flop came out {3-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and Ferraro checked to Kaulia who bet 5,000 which Ferarro called.

The turn of {3-Diamonds} checked through to the {9-Hearts} river where Ferraro checked and Kaulia bet 8,000. Ferraro responded by moving all in for 40,900 and Kaulia called.

Ferraro's top pair was no good against Kaulia's rivered set of nines and the bracelet winner exited the tournament.

After Oscar Longoria had called a bet of 2,300 out of position, early position versus mid position, he checked called a bet from his opponent of 2,300 on {6-Hearts}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} board.

An {a-Diamonds} turn card didn't slow his opponent down though, as she bet 5,000 now. Longoria made the call and both players checked down the {4-Diamonds} river.

The turn of {k-Diamonds} saw Calamusa bet once more when checked too, this time to the tune of 16,000 which got a quick fold from his opponent and Calamusa once more rose to the top of the chip counts.

Petrushevskii Sniffs Out the Bluff

On a board of {10-Hearts}{q-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{10-Spades} with 17,000 chips in the pot, Sergei Petrushevskii's early position opponent had bet 7,400 chips.

With action on Petrushevskii, he went in the time bank for at least a couple of minutes, frowning and contemplating before deciding to call.

His opponent flipped over {j-Hearts}{8-Hearts} for a bluff against the {k-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds} of Petrushevskii.
