Troha Scores Dramatic Double Through Dudani Once More

Level 31 : Blinds 125,000/250,000, 250,000 ante
Sean Troha
Sean Troha

Sean Troha limp-called a pot-sized raise by Shiva Dudani in a battle of the blinds and check-folded the {k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{9-Hearts} flop when facing a bet worth 700,000.

One hand later, Troha raised to 500,000 on the button and Dudani three-bet the pot to 1,750,000 in the small blind. It folded back to Troha who repotted to 5,500,000 and that sent Dudani into a brief tank as he studied the remaining stack of his previous foe.

Dudani then called and checked the {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds} flop before calling the shove by Troha for 4,500,000.

"Aces?" Dudani inquired as he rolled over his {q-Hearts}{q-Spades}{10-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a set of tens. Troha, however, was caught with a move as he tabled the {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{k-Hearts}{7-Hearts} only.

His rail shouted for a king and sure enough that's what came on the {k-Clubs} turn. Dudani now needed the case ten or a jack to avoid another major setback but Troha held up on the blank {4-Diamonds} river to double into the lead.
