No Scoops But Some More Profit

Level 23 : 20,000/40,000, 0 ante

Carol Fuchs earned half the pot with a full house on the {4-Spades}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{a-Diamonds}{3-Spades} board when her {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{9-Spades}{3-Hearts} in the cutoff won the high portion. Bartholomew Randolph with the {a-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{5-Spades}{5-Hearts} had flopped a wheel but only earned half the low as Vitaliy Mikhov tabled the {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Clubs} for the same straight.

One hand later, Shennel Beasley was all-in for 80,000 preflop and earned multiple callers including Eddie Blumenthal and Ron Lane. It would end in another split pot but Beasley earned three quarters of the pot on a {9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{6-Spades} runout with the {a-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{2-Clubs}{2-Spades}. Blumenthal with the {a-Clubs}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{3-Spades} won a quarter of the main pot as the {a-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{7-Spades}{2-Diamonds} of Ron Lane for a straight was only good for half of the side pot.

Beasley then lost some chips in yet another three-way hand in which Lane and Fuchs earned the slices of the pot.
