Lane Busts and Randolph Survives

Level 26 : 40,000/80,000, 0 ante

Matt Glantz raised in the cutoff and Bartholomew Randolph pushed all-in for 90,000 on the button. Ron Lane called all-in in the small blind and Matt Vengrin called in the big blind, Glantz also tossed in the additional two chips.

On the {a-Hearts}{q-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop, Vengrin checked and then folded when Glantz bet.

Ron Lane: {k-Diamonds}{q-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Bartholomew Randolph: {a-Spades}{9-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Clubs}
Matt Glantz: {a-Clubs}{j-Spades}{9-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}

Glantz and Randolph had aces and nines while Lane was hoping for a flush. The {10-Spades} turn added an additional open-ender and gutshot for Lane but he bricked the {5-Diamonds} river to bow out. Glantz and Randolph chopped the main pot and the field was reduced to the final 33 contenders.
