Mel Judah Eliminated in 8th Place ($25,377)

Level 33 : 200,000/400,000, 0 ante

Multi-way action had Paul Zappulla on the button, Amnon Filippi in small blind David Funkhouser in the big blind and Mel Judah to his right. Blinds were 200,000-400,000 and Judah was all in for 150,000.

The flop came down {4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{4-Hearts} to which the three remaining contenders checked.

A {10-Clubs} showed up on the turn and it was checked around.

The river was a {k-Clubs} and everyone checked again. Funkhouser showed his cards first {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}{4-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} to which Filippi and Zappulla folded. Judah then showed {a-Clubs}{j-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} and with no low on board, Funkhouser's trips were good for the whole pot.

As Judah stood up to exit the tournament, the rail cheered loudly and shouted congratulatory praise to the poker legend for his deep run in the tournament.
