James Chen Eliminated in 12th Place ($12,391)

After Amnon Filippi bet on a turn board of {6-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}{3-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, James Chen then raised all in. Filippi then reraised to force out the other opponent and the two were going to a river with Chen at risk.

Chen: {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}{10-Spades}
Filippi: {4-Spades}{3-Spades}{q-Hearts}{5-Hearts}

The {7-} river paired the board again but Chen was left with two pair, no low, and Filippi's flopped straight was good to scoop, busting Chen.

Chen headed to the payout desk in 12th place for $12,391.

Anil Jivani

In cutoff position, Anil Jivani was short-stacked going up against James Chen on the button and Amnon Filippi in the big blind. The flop came down {a-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}.

Filippi bet, Jivani went all in for his remaining 15,000 and Chen called.

A {7-Hearts} showed up on the turn and Filippi and Chen bet into their side pot.

On the river was a {j-Spades} and cards were flipped up. Jivani showed {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds} but his kings didn't hold up against Filippi's {a-Spades}{8-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{2-Spades} for the low or Chen's {a-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{5-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} for the high.

Brian Nichols was all in for his tournament life with {a-Hearts}{j-Spades}{6-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} against the {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}{4-Spades} of Amnon Filippi.

The {9-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts}{k-Spades} gave Filippi trip sevens, and with no low Brian Nichols was sent to the rail in 15th place.

Travis Pine was all in pre-flop with {a-Clubs}{k-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Spades} against the {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts} of Paul Zappulla.

The board ran out {a-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{4-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{4-Clubs} with Zappulla turning a six-high straight which was good enough for the high and the low, sending Pine to the rails.
