Sick Cooler Helps Drinan, Sends Yoo To The Rail

Level 12 : Blinds 1,000/2,500, 2,500 ante
Connor Drinan

According to Sungkae Yoo (Seikei Yanagi) who PokerNews caught up with after, he opened 5,500 and got one call before Drinan three-bet to 25,500 and both Yoo and the other player in middle position called.

Yoo and the other player checked to Drinan who bet 10,000 on the flop of {a-Spades}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}, and only Yoo called.

A {7-Clubs} fell on the turn and after Drinan bet 20,000, Yoo moved in for around 10,000 - 15,000 more. Drinan snapped him off and tabled {a-Hearts}{a-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{3-Diamonds} for top boat. A horrible cooler for Yoo who showed {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{j-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} for 2nd nut boat.

Yoo was drawing to quad queens but the river was a blank, sending Yoo to the rail.
