Kirkpatrick Calls for a Ruling

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Mark Kirkpatrick raised to 32,000 in the cutoff and Bernard Muhire pushed a stack of reds across the line and cut two off the top for a raise to 90,000. The big blind folded and Kirkpatrick called for the floor, asking if it was a legal raise. The floor came by and was somewhat confused about why it would not be a raise and ruled it a raise to 90,000. Kirkpatrick called.

The dealer fanned a flop of {a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{4-Hearts} and Muhire bet 65,000. Kirkpatrick announced all in for 379,000 and had Mehire talking aloud. "I knew that was a preflop angle," he said while pondering his decision. About 30 more seconds passed before Muhire tabled the {a-Spades} and mucked his hand.
