Day 2 of Event #75: $777 Lucky 7's No-Limit Hold'em has been completed and at the end of the day, just nine players remain to battle it out for the bracelet and $777,777.

Christopher Farmer ended the day with an impressive chip lead, bagging 77,400,000. Farmer starting to gain momentum nearing the end of the night after rivering trip fours and getting paid by Rodney Turvin who was the current chip leader. Shortly after that, Farmer won another monster pot as he eliminated Binchiat Tay with his pocket eights against Tay's pocket tens (eight on the river).

Rodney Turvin bagged the second-largest chip stack with 58,000,000. Turvin has a total of $94,865 in WSOP earnings and three cashes this year in the 53rd Annual WSOP.

Following behind Turvin is Kyle "Jack in the Box" Miholich who bagged a total of 31,700,000 after a very swingy Day 2 grind. He already has one WSOP Circuit gold ring but looks to capture his first WSOP gold bracelet as he has been having a fantastic series, cashing 11 times so far in the 53rd Annual WSOP. It is expected Miholich will bring out the Jack in the Box head assuming he makes the official final table on Day 3.

Cunningham Refuses to Leave

Level 37 : Blinds 500,000/1,000,000, 1,000,000 ante
Allen Cunningham
Allen Cunningham

Allen Cunningham shoved for 6,600,000 in the cutoff and Paul De La Soujeole called in the small blind, putting Cunningham at risk once again in this tournament.

Allen Cunningham: {j-Spades}{8-Spades}
Paul De La Soujeole: {a-Diamonds}{10-Diamonds}

"Straight flush please" Joked Cunningham.

It wasn't a straight flush but the {j-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{4-Spades} flop was pretty good at he flopped top two pair. The {9-Clubs} turn was a sweat as Soujeole picked up an open-ended straight draw but the {5-Spades} river was a brick and Cunningham collected a double up.

Kyle Miholich: {k-Diamonds}{k-Spades}
Allen Cunningham: {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}

The {6-Spades} turn took another out away from Cunningham as Miholich now was drawing to a bigger flush.

The river brought the {k-Clubs}, giving Miholich a set of kings and securing a huge double up to over 33 million while Cunningham was left with seven big blinds.

Binchiat Tay
Binchiat Tay

Binchiat Tay shoved under the gun for 14,300,000 and Christopher Farmer called in the small blind. Rodney Turvin was in the big blind and tanked for about 40 seconds before folding his {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts} face up.

Christopher Farmer: {8-Hearts}{8-Spades}

Tay was in great shape with a pair over-pair situation and the {a-Diamonds}{5-Clubs}{4-Hearts} flop changed nothing. The {9-Hearts} hit the turn but unfortunately for Tay the {8-Diamonds} landed on the river, eliminating Tay in 10th place for $39,980.

Turvin Puts Stewart in the Tank

Level 36 : Blinds 400,000/800,000, 800,000 ante
Rodney Turvin
Rodney Turvin

Rodney Turvin raised 1,800,000 in the hijack and Binchiat Tay called in the cutoff before Jed Stewart came along in the small blind.

The dealer fanned a flop of {j-Spades}{7-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and all three players checked to the {j-Diamonds} turn. Stewart led out for 2,000,000 and only Turvin made the call.

The {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river and Stewart checked before Turvin announced all in as he dropped a pile of 1,000,000 chips across the line.

Stewart went deep into the tank for about two and a half minutes before surrendering his cards and saying, "Show the bluff."

"No bluff to show," responded Turvin.

The dealer spread a flop of {k-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{5-Spades}, giving [Removed:372] a pair of kings to take the lead, and Cunningham who was already standing clapped.
