Reinbold Doubles Through Strong

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

William Strong opened under the gun to 18,000 and it was called by Eric Fields and William Leffingwell before Zachary Reinbold shoved in the big blind for a remaining stack around 70,000. Strong reshoved and the other players let it go to create the following showdown:

Zachary Reinbold: {k-Hearts}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}{3-Hearts}
William Strong: {a-Hearts}{a-Clubs}{9-Spades}{2-Hearts}

The board fanned {9-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{4-Spades} to give a straight to Reinbold and double up his stack.

Shak Out, Nichan Big Winner in Four Way All In

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante
Dan Shak
Dan Shak

Pot-Limit Omaha

Action was joined after four players had gotten it all in preflop: David Wang with the short stack, then Dan Shak, then Khorchidian Nichan, and Raymond Henson, who had all of them covered.

David Wang: {q-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{k-Hearts}
Dan Shak: {k-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{k-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}
Khorchidian Nichan: {a-Clubs}{a-Spades}{3-Clubs}{10-Spades}
Raymond Henson: {a-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{q-Hearts}{2-Clubs}

Nichan was ahead with his aces, and he managed to weather the {4-Spades}{j-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{7-Spades}{4-Clubs} runout with those aces still being best. He scooped the pot, knocking out Wang and Shak while doubling through Henson.

Davies Gets a Fold from Faircloth

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Scott Davies raised to 14,000 on the button and Jason made the call in the big blind to see a flop {q-Clubs}{7-Spades}{a-Diamonds}. Faircloth quickly check-called Davies' continuation bet for 12,000.

The turn brought the {a-Clubs} and Faircloth checked. After some thinking, Davies bet 20,000 and Faircloth called gain.

The {9-Spades} completed the board and after another check from Faircloth, Davies tossed a pile of T-5,000 chips in front of him for a bet over 100,000. Faircloth thought about it for some and eventually folded, showing a {4-Hearts}.

Level 16 : Blinds 3,000/6,000, 6,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

The heads-up action was joined with around 145,000 in the pot and a complete board of {k-Clubs}{7-Spades}{j-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{5-Hearts} on the felt. Aden Salazar, in the small blind, checked over to Jay Harwood in the cutoff. He fired for 115,000. Salazar went into the tank for a bit, before eventually making the call. Harwood showed him {a-Spades}{k-Spades} for top pair top kicker, and Salazar promptly tossed his hand into the muck.

Wood Wins Classic Race to Double

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

After Christopher Wood went all in from the button for 110,000, he received just one caller, Robert Park in the hijack, who had Wood covered.

Christopher Wood: {a-Spades}{10-Spades}
Robert Park: {7-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}

Wood would pull ahead quickly in the race, as the {a-Hearts}{4-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop gave him top pair. The {8-Diamonds} turn and {2-Diamonds} river changed nothing, and Wood secured the double up.

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

Pot-Limit Omaha

Lukas Chiciak opened in the cutoff for 16,000 and Carter Newhof called in the big blind.

Lukas Chiciak: {a-Spades}{j-Clubs}{10-Diamonds}{3-Spades}
Carter Newhof: {q-Clubs}{q-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{6-Spades}

The rest of the board fell the {k-Clubs} and the {j-Hearts} to give two pair to Chiciak and the double up.

Taylor Scores Knockout

Level 17 : Blinds 4,000/8,000, 8,000 ante

No-Limit Hold'em

Action was joined with a flop of {6-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{3-Hearts} on the board. Noah Harthcock moved all in for around 75,000 from the big blind. Esther Taylor, in the cutoff made the call, putting Harthcock at risk.

Noah Harthcock: {7-Hearts}{8-Diamonds}
Esther Taylor: {k-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}

Taylor was ahead with her king high, but would need to fade Harthcock's open ended straight draw. She did so successfully as the {5-Diamonds} turn and {q-Hearts} river were both bricks. Taylor scooped the pot while Harthcock was sent to the rail.
