Event 8: $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em Commences Today at 1 P.M. PT

The 2022 WSOP at Bally's and Paris Las Vegas continues today with the kickoff of the always competitive Event 8: $25,000 High Roller No-Limit Hold'em in the Paris Ballroom.

The exciting high roller events consistently attract a plethora of top-name professionals in the poker world. That promises to be the case today when the second high roller event on this year's schedule gets going this afternoon at 1 p.m. local time.

Last year, Tyler Cornell claimed his maiden gold bracelet, besting a field of 139 entrants and claiming the $833,289 up top.

The $25,000 buy-in will get players a starting stack of 150,000. Levels will be 60-minutes with 15-minute breaks taking place every two levels. Day 1 will feature eight levels of play, and registration will be open all the way until the beginning of Day 2 tomorrow, which is also scheduled for a 1 p.m. start.

There will undoubtedly be no shortage of action as the biggest names in the poker world collide in search of gold bracelet glory.
