Hardt Finds a Double Up

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

In a pot of 68,000 on a flop of {10-Hearts}{8-Spades}{6-Clubs}, Clayton Hardt checked from the big blind and Valentin Oberhauser bet 50,000 from the hijack. Hardt took a moment before moving all in for 210,000 and Oberhauser made the call.

Clayton Hardt: {j-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Valentin Oberhauser: {j-Spades}{j-Diamonds}

Hardt slow played jacks from the big blind and found a great situation being up against the jack-ten of his opponent. The board ran out {9-Hearts} and {9-Spades}, securing a full double up for Hardt.

Table 648 Update; Almeida Takes Big From Jones

Level 19 : Blinds 10,000/15,000, 15,000 ante

Ryan Jones retold action to PokerNews about a hand where he lost a large portion of his stack.

When the big blind was at 12,000, Rui Bouquet opened from the cutoff to 24,000. JeWook Oh three-bet to 82,000 from the button. Jones then jammed all in, which at the time he had the table covered, in the big blind Caio Almeida called and the other two folded,

Almeida had woken up with {a-Spades}{a-Clubs} which were dominating the {10-Spades}{10-Clubs} of Jones. Oh claimed to have folded {j-Hearts}{j-Diamonds}. The board was no help to Jones and the tilt of chips at the table was dramatically altered.

Liu Doubles Through Davis

Level 20 : Blinds 10,000/20,000, 20,000 ante

Bin Liu jammed about 280,000 from the cutoff. Mark Davis called on the button and everyone else folded.

Davis had Liu dominated with the {a-Spades}{j-Hearts} vs the {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts} of Liu.

But the flop was good for Liu as it came {6-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{7-Diamonds} to give him an open ender, the turn paired him as the {8-Diamonds} came off and the {2-Hearts} was a blank to secure Liu a double up and keep the momentum of Davis's stack going south.
