Jensen Keeps on Betting

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/1,000, 1,000 ante

The flop read {k-Clubs}{2-Hearts}{j-Hearts} with 14,000 in the middle. Dongwuk Moon in the small blind and Seth Davies in the middle position had both checked but Gregory Jensen bet 10,000 for Masashi Oya to make the call on the button. Moon and Davies both got out of the way.

The turn was the {10-Clubs} and Jensen continued with a bet of 25,000 which Oya called.

The {5-Diamonds} on the river was good enough for Jensen to continue with a barrel of 75,000 for Oya to give up on.

While the hand was going on, Christoph Vogelsang joined them on the table with Jonathan Jaffe coming in too.

Set Good For Vogelsang

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/1,000, 1,000 ante

Christoph Vogelsang opened to 3,000 from under the gun and was called by Stephen Chidwick on the button as well as Punnat Punsri out of the big blind.

The flop came {j-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{3-Diamonds} and both Punsri and Vogelsang checked to Chidwick, who led out for 4,000. Punsri got out of the way while Vogelsang called to send the two players to the turn.

Vogelsang checked for a second time on the {10-Clubs} turn. Chidwick fired off another bet, this time sizing up to a hefty 20,000. Despite the sizing, Vogelsang was not prepared to give up on the pot just yet and again called.

Both players checked after the {9-Clubs} river and Vogelsang showed down {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds} for the rivered set, good enough to scoop a sizable pot.

Davies Loses Two in a Row

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/1,000, 1,000 ante

The flop read {8-Spades}{9-Hearts}{10-Spades} with 23,000 in the middle. Seth Davies checked in the hijack and Dylan Destefano bet 13,000 which Davies called. They both checked through the {9-Clubs} on the turn to the {j-Spades} on the river. They both checked again. Davies showed the {7-Spades}{7-Clubs} for the straight but Destefano held the {q-Hearts}{j-Diamonds} for the higher one and the pot.

On the next hand, Davies raised to 3,000 from under the gun and Harry Kazazian three-bet to 8,000 from the big blind which was called. The flop came {3-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}, Kazazian check-called the 6,000 bet of Davies. They both checked through the {k-Clubs} on the turn to the {8-Clubs} on the river. Kazazian bet 8,000 and that was enough for Davies to fold.

Klein Out-Duels Oya

Level 1 : Blinds 1,000/1,000, 1,000 ante
Bill Klein
Bill Klein

Bill Klein opened to 4,000 from under the gun and was called by Masashi Oya out of the small blind as well as Dongwuk Moon in the big blind.

Action checked to Klein on a flop of {5-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{j-Clubs} and he continued for 6,000. Oya responded by raising to 16,000 which forced Moon out of the hand. Klein, however, was not convinced by the raise and flatted to see a turn.

Oya continued his aggression with a bet of 12,000 on the {3-Diamonds} turn only to see Klein raise to 35,000. After some thought, Oya called.

Both players checked it down on the {7-Diamonds} river and Klein tabled {a-Clubs}{j-Hearts} for a winner.
