Kade Spins it Up from 14,000 to 80,000

Level 8 : Blinds 600/1,200, 1,200 ante
Vanessa Kade
Vanessa Kade

Vanessa Kade found herself very short early on Day 1 but has put herself back in the game.

After the button opened, Kade defended her big blind.

The flop came {9-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{6-Diamonds} and the button continued for just about the size of the pot. Kade put in a small raise and the button came along for the ride.

On the {5-Diamonds} turn, Kade jammed for roughly the size of the pot and, after a sizable tank, the button eventually called.

Vanessa Kade: {k-Clubs}{3-Clubs}
Button: {10-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds}

Both players were on flush draws with the button also having a straight draw to go along with it. However, Kade's king-high had her way out in front.

The {j-Hearts} arrived on the river and Kade's king was good enough to double her up back to 80,000.

The flop came {3-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{3-Diamonds} and Kassouf had bet 6,000 and Huff raised to 15,000 when PokerNews arrived at the scene. Kassouf said "Oh yes, PokerNews. Right on cue. About to witness the cooler of the century. The biggest cooler of the whole World Series."

Kassouf only had roughly 30,000 total and put it all in. Huff called.

Will Kassouf: {10-Spades}{10-Hearts}
Brandon Huff: {k-Clubs}{k-Spades}

Kassouf wouldn't improve as the board ran out {4-Clubs}{9-Spades} to give Huff the pot. Kassouf had just been brought food only seconds prior to the hand and would have to enjoy his snacks out in the hallway of Paris.
