Both players checked through the 
flop and 
turn to see the 
river. Ferraro checked for a third time and Katz wasted little time checking back to go to showdown. Ferraro tentatively turned over a 
before mucking the rest of his hand as Katz held 
for the nut flush, drawing a look of surprise from Ferraro. No one at the table called the floor despite the fact that official WSOP rules state that a player may not check back the nuts, a rule designed to prevent soft playing.
