"Why Can't I Be a Better Player?"

Level 25 : 30,000/60,000, 10,000 ante
Brad Ruben
Brad Ruben

Brad Ruben: {x-}{x-}/{2-Spades}{a-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{3-Clubs}/{x-}
Alex Livingston: {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}/{q-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{j-Spades}/{5-Diamonds}

Action was picked up on sixth street as Brad Ruben bet and Alex Livingston raised, Ruben called. Livingston continued his aggression with a bet on seventh street.

"I have aces up" said Ruben as he looked at Livingston, continuing the banter the two players had been having for the last level. "I know you have trip jacks, I guess I'll just pay you" and he called.

Sure enough, Livingston tabled the {j-Clubs}{8-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for trip jacks.

"Why can't I bet a better player and fold there?" asked Ruben, the winner of his fourth WSOP bracelet just two days ago.
