Bord Has All the Outs, Takes Out Yu

Level 4 : 300/500, 500 ante

Nicholas Yu was fighting for a pot of about 20,000 on the flop. Looking at a board of {8-Clubs}{4-Clubs}{5-Hearts}, he bet 13,000. In position, Adam Bord made the call.

The {10-Diamonds} hit the turn, Yu counted out his stack and decided to move it all in for about 30,000. Bord only thought for about five seconds before tossing in a call and cards were flipped over.

Nicholas Yu: {k-Spades}{k-Diamonds}
Adam Bord: {9-Clubs}{10-Clubs}

"Wow," said Yu, looking at all the outs he'd need to dodge. "Put an ace of spades out there," he requested.

He wasn't happy to make a set when the {k-Clubs} landed on the river to ship all of his chips across the table to Bord.
