Purewal Goes For it All

Level 4 : Blinds 300/500, 500 ante

Having just been moved to the table, Sahib Purewal saw a late-position raise. Purewal put in the three-bet from the big blind and was called.

Heads up, the two players saw the {5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{q-Diamonds} flop. Purewal didn't continue, instead check-calling a bet of 7,500 of his opponent.

The {8-Clubs} hit the turn and Purewal checked again. His opponent bet 10,000, having about 34,000 behind.

Purewal stood up to get a better view of his opponent's chip stack. After doing so, he moved all in.

His opponent let go of his cards pretty quickly and Purewal showed the table that he sat down to {q-}{q-} and flopped a set.

"Welcome to the table," said his new neighbors.
