Ivey Can't Get Away from Bottom Straight

Level 3 : Blinds 200/400, 400 ante

The following hand occurred moments ago on the PokerGO livestream on a delay...

With the board showing {6-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{5-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{8-Clubs}, Phil Ivey was facing a bet of 6,000 from Cameron Cornell with the pot at 16,800. The poker legend was holding {4-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} for the bottom end of the straight. He tanked for a couple of minutes before deciding on a call. Unfortunately, for the 10-time WSOP bracelet winner, Cornell had {9-Spades}{9-Hearts}, a superior straight, and took down the mid-sized pot.
