Salas Loses Blind On Blind Battle

Level 13 : Blinds 2,000/4,000, 4,000 ante

Action folded around to Damian Salas in the small blind, who opened to 11,000. The big blind called to send the two players heads-up to the flop.

The flop came {7-Hearts}{j-Clubs}{5-Diamonds} and Salas checked. His opponent led out for 15,000 but that was not enough to shed the 2020 WSOP Main Event winner, who called.

Salas checked for a second time on the {2-Diamonds} turn and folded after the big blind fired off 25,000. Despite losing that pot, Salas has enjoyed a successful Day 3 thus far after sitting down with just 32,900.
